“This podcast hits on many levels for me, but if I were to highlight the one aspect that separates it from the pack, it’s that you really feel like you’re part of a fireside discussion between two lovers of books, but also two people who radiate curiosity about how literature (even written “by dead people”) reflects the world we live in. This podcast is funny, charming, well-produced, pleasing-to-the-ear and overall a joy to listen to. And I said I would highlight one aspect, but like Marlon James I guess I’ll keep dreaming for brevity!

“Please give a listen to the production values. Jake comes through loud and clear but Marlon sounds like he is sitting across the room. Constantly adjusting the volume depending on who is talking is very frustrating. This quality podcast deserves better!!! I love it but HELP!”
