I love her authenticity in sharing stories about herself, her reactions and her marriage which helps me feel a little less alone (and crazy). And then also provides practical steps to heal and recover.

Recovering from CPTSD is as disorienting as it is life changing. Tanner speaks from the heart and from experience and for that I am grateful for her guidance in this process. Not every pathway resonates in these podcasts, but the ones that do are so powerful. There’s hope and instruction by her...Read full review »

I have been trying to find the right podcast for my cptsd recovery. So many I think are good for me - this one though, Dr. Tanner is great. One thing though is the focus on women - I still feel like I can get everything she’s saying and talking about as a cisgendered man.

She puts herself out there like an expert. She’s uses Dr. to make you think she is a doctor of psychology or a therapist. If you check she’s not a therapist or psychologist. But wants you to think she is qualified. Better to listen to a real therapist than someone who pretends to be. She makes up...Read full review »

She is doing great work for many, I’m sure. I listened to the last podcast of 2022 and it felt like a bit of an infomercial pushing people to do her program. The jargon she uses such as “Tanner universe” is a turn off.
