Masters of the Air
Thanks for creating the pod. I’m a university trained, public educator of geography with a lifelong fascination for studying World War 2. I have read Donald Miller’s Masters of the Air, James Holland’s Big Week, Gerald Astor’s the Mighty Eighth as well as Thomas McKelvey Cleavers Clean Sweep. If you visit the web page of the 100th BG their mission statement and statement of thanks both do a Phenominal job of acknowledging those who were honored by this epic series as well as all who served and sacrificed Keep up the good work and keep reading to learn more.

This is a great accompaniment to the TV show. I especially enjoy the insight from the author of the book, Don Miller, providing historical background. This regularly brought me to tears. Absolutely brilliant and an amazing tribute to the men in the bomber group who fought hard to keep us safe.

I was hoping for serious historic insight by the presenters. They don’t seem to have done much homework which would’ve enriched the historical significance of this period. A big disappointment when this was such an epic era meted out by such ill prepared presenters.
