This is a great accompaniment to the TV show. I especially enjoy the insight from the author of the book, Don Miller, providing historical background. This regularly brought me to tears. Absolutely brilliant and an amazing tribute to the men in the bomber group who fought hard to keep us safe.

I was hoping for serious historic insight by the presenters. They don’t seem to have done much homework which would’ve enriched the historical significance of this period. A big disappointment when this was such an epic era meted out by such ill prepared presenters.

Really enjoyed hanging out with the guys and hearing their take on the series. For whatever reason their voices and banter reminded me of the DVD commentaries by Nick Frost and Simon Pegg. The "we're not experts" disclaimer was more of a plus than a minus for me. Keep up the good work!Read full review »

I listed to the podcasts up until the 7th episode where at the end, the hosts showed such dismissive interest in the story and movie of the Tuskegee Airmen without explanation, that one is left to wonder and speculative as to why. Very unfortunate. I truly hope it’s not because it’s about black...Read full review »

Just happened to find this podcast yesterday, while looking for more information and commentary on the “Masters Of The Air” miniseries. Very much enjoying your reactions to the show, and have listened to all 3 episodes so far, plus the episode you did on the 1990 movie “Memphis Belle” - that was...Read full review »

Watched episode 1 of Masters of the Air, enjoyed it; love listening to Podcasts for shows I enjoy. None of the podcasts I am currently subscribed to are covering the show so I searched for one which did. Chose this one as it was the first one listed. And I am glad I did!! The two hosts discussion...Read full review »

Just FYI the planes can explode after bellying in. They had high octane aviation gas in the wings along with other flammable things. The fumes from the gasoline is highly volatile. So it is very likely that they might explode after scraping the wing along.

These guys disclose upfront they do zero prep and this does, on rare occasions, provide unique perspective. But often their ignorance is grating and I can’t do it anymore. For instance, re this episode one of these guys says that Buck doesn’t want to end up with “Stalin” whilst over Southern...Read full review »

I discovered the amazing, ridiculously underrated TV show: The Expanse last year (Fall 2023) and I was late to the game so all the podcasts I loved to accompany each episode were years old, but I really enjoyed them nonetheless. One of the shows I loved was Into the Expanse starring these same 2...Read full review »
