“I signed in to the Apple account I literally only still use to write podcast reivews to say this: MC+ is my favorite type of podcast, a media show where one of the hosts knows nothing about the show and is joined in their journey by hosts who've seen it before. My joy is compounded by the fact that Jack is somehow blissfully unaware of the tropes of shonen anime in general, making their first dive into anime even wilder since this show does so much to subvert a lot of the tropes. I cannot recommend this collection of memes, heartfelt reactions, and excellent critical media analysis enough.
