Captures the imagination
Memory Motel is simply riveting. Terence Mickey takes us on a journey to explore an amazing feat of the human brain - our ability to mentally time travel into our pasts. And as profound as memory is to our identity, most of us don't think too deeply about its intricacies, its fallibilities, and its pervasiveness in our everyday lives. But Terence Mickey does, and takes us along with him. Memory is the fodder for our imaginations and our creativity. It is central to our social relationships. And it extends beyond our own minds to exist between and depend on others (couples families, societies - Episode 1) and can become forever linked with aspects of our environments such as places, smells and objects (mementos - Episode 2). Terence Mickey is an engaging and insightful storyteller - I can't wait to see what we will explore in Episode 3!Read full review »

More reviews of Memory Motel
It's rare a new podcast gets my attention as the options increase and I have tons I listen to regularly. Memory Motel is the exception. It ticks all the boxes- well produced, no weird mouth noises from the host, and captivating as well as thought provoking subject matter.Read full review »

I haven’t finished listening but after the last two episodes and I’m really excited to listen to more. I am however disappointed to see it looks like the podcast ended abruptly.
