This podcast deals with Irish murder cases. It is very well researched and excellently delivered. I would (and have) recommend this podcast to anyone with an interest in the darker side of the society in which we live.

One day I sat, wishing for a podcast that wasn’t full of ads, had podcaster who’s voice didn’t make my teeth grind…one that didn’t have two ladies joking and giggling…(I’m not looking for comedy)….and there you were!!!! I started at Ep. 1. I’m up to 150…I may just catch up.

Straightforward, well told and thoughtful. Sinead is a careful researcher and an excellent presenter. As a Canadian listener I find it most interesting to hear about how serious crime is approached by law enforcement in the Ireland and the UK. I have listened to every episode and continue to look...Read full review »

The music for this podcast is beautifully haunting. Where can I find a copy of the entire piece. I’m not dying, but I am putting a playlist of my most favorite pieces together for my future funeral. Call me dark. I believe you said that your brother wrote this amazing piece. Is that true or did...Read full review »

Well spoken commentator, not the usual recycled true crime stories, and presented in a serious manner. Far cry from podcasters who act in a light-hearted silly manner when speaking about a serious topic. Love this podcast.

My favourite podcast seems to have ended. Is it coming back?

This is on of the best podcasts I know. Highly informative and free from tabloid bias. Well done for telling complete stories rather than soundbytes

I found this pod cast nearly 2-days ago and I have binge listened to number 25 already. I can’t believe I have not seen before this week. Great listen, easily digestible. Particularly enjoyable because the subjects are usually UK or Irish ☘️ based. Some of them I have heard before but many I have...Read full review »

I like this podcast because the cases are unique to US listeners. It’s not a rehash of the same true crime stories that we hear in the states. Also, (and this isn’t an insult) if I can’t sleep at night, I play this podcast because the host’s voice is so darn soothing that it puts me to sleep.

This is a great podcast. Love hearing from the Irish world of crime!

This was once my favourite podcast, but sadly cancelled my Patreon sub as the frequency wasn’t what I expected. A 16 minute broadcast this week, has reassured that I made the correct decision. She sounds and looks like a lovely person and I wish her all the best for the future
anna mcelle via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 10/19/22
I’ve been listening for a few years now. I really enjoy that there’s no banter or chit chat, just straight into the cases. I find Sinead’s voice quite soothing and it really helps me relax. Love that the cases are unique and haven’t been covered by other pods (probably only know any of them if...Read full review »

I find this very interesting, as an Irish person living in UK. Whether I’m familiar with the cases or not, they’re always insightful and dealt with in a very sensitive way. I find Sinead’s neutral delivery enhances the podcast for me, unlike others, where their voice/delivery is distracting. Not...Read full review »

Is there something wrong with me if I’m addicted to this podcast? Well researched and laid out. Obviously a lot of work goes into each episode! Keep up the amazing work!!
SarahCJD via Apple Podcasts · Ireland · 09/13/22
Suggested to me at Crimecon a excellent pod Even when a case is a extreme case it’s excellently sanitised if you aren’t great at them

Too much quoting….. Thought after a year I’d give this another go…what is it with this podcaster? Quote end quote, quote end quote, quote end quote… that’s every few seconds. Awful
jonnyrockstuff via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 08/15/22
I enjoy listening to crime podcasts, they excite me as I imagine myself in the shoes of the offender. After listening to 2 of your casts, I was becoming frustrated with your annoying (often expressionless) voice. The 3rd and last cast I listened to, all I could imagine was being the offender and...Read full review »

Excellent all rounder No silly giggling or annoying background noises Direct and clear
hollyblur via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 07/03/22
Sinead is very intelligent and tells the tales in a well-researched factual way, leaving the viewer to make up their mind how to feel about the case. Highly recommended. She also has a nice cam delivery which I appreciate. Thumbs up.
Chicago Cin via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/07/22
Tried getting back into this pod after a break, but the latest episode confirmed my thoughts, is just a monotonous, endless list of witness statements. And then he was found guilty. Not for me
mdColey25 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 05/25/22
I love the calm, respectful tone that the host always has. Her research is excellent and the crimes she covers are generally not ones I have heard of since I live in the states. Thank you Sinead!
Annliarubio via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/24/22
At 41:15 Sinead whispers “stop it” presumably to her children or pets. I think my soul left my body thinking a ghost of one of Colin Irelands victims was judging me for listening to a podcast about them.

This is a great podcast. Very informative and easy to listen to. Top marks!

This used to be a great podcast but now all it is a monotone reading of the court proceedings.

Sinead is such a great narrator. I could listen to her read a phone book!
ReddEye81 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/24/22
Detailed and good podcast ,Sinead does excellent research ,especially informing on the different aspects of Irish criminal law. I would however like to hear a more balanced approach that features cases of men that were affected and on the receiving end of crime as this needs to be addressed too
Mike Ceec via Apple Podcasts · Ireland · 03/27/22
Really enjoy listening, great detail and research done for every episode
bazek10 via Apple Podcasts · Ireland · 03/14/22
Really enjoy this podcast. Well researched and told in a nice and respectful story format.
Batgirl56 via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 03/09/22
After some time of enjoying the episodes, now everything feels very boring, like just reading the case official files. No storytelling, no effort of presenting the case in an interesting light. Plus, it’s now mostly home violence cases very similar to each other.

I heard about this podcast from “Murder Most Irish” and I’m so happy they are big fans and mention Mens Rea all the time! This podcast is excellent.
