Menu For Great Health – Gotta Guru?
Listen now
Description
Do you really need to have your own Guru? We have all thrown the term around. Typically we take it to mean an “expert”. Well, if we consider a Guru as someone with certain experience to share, then that definition is pretty much on the mark. After all the root of the two words is the same. So what can a Guru offer us? How about insight, guidance, and experience that others have learned from. When you think about it, you probably have many people in your life that play the role of Guru in one way or another. (Hopefully you consider “Menu For Great Health” as your wellness Guru). Why reinvent the wheel when you can benefit from a Guru? A good one can offer solutions on many topics and life issues. For example, making cooking magical, or 10 minutes to tasty meals. Revealing perspectives you had not previously considered is the mark of a hip Guru. This week we talk with Swami Tirtha, author of the book “The Stress Free College Student (http://thehipgurusguide.com/shop/)”. With over 40 years of experience in the wellness field Swami Tirtha has much to share indeed. You can learn more about him at www.thehipgurusguide.com (http://www.thehipgurusguide.com). Tune in as we visit with a bona-fide Guru and learn how to make magic in the kitchen. As always, you’ll find lots of recipes, healthy eating, and cooking tips on Chef Tom’s blog, The Confidence Diet (http://www.theconfidencediet.com/).
