Hard to top this
Despite its title, this is a podcast for open-minded, curious fans of music in general. You don't really need to have any clear understanding of what precisely noise music is (or is not) coming into this. The background and description given for each featured release should provide listeners with enough to start with, and it's not terribly hard to find at least something by each artist online, even if it's not the exact same release, so the listener can enjoy their own subjective experience along with the hosts. At the same time, noise heads shouldn't get bored either. I learn something new every episode, plus listening to Greh, Mike, and Tara share their personal perspective invites me to reconsider releases I haven't thought about in years or even dismissed as being less vital than other releases by the same artist. All of the guests and interviews are top-notch as well. I hope they keep doing this for a long, long time.Read full review »

Perfect. If you like noise and you aren’t into this podcast... you don’t like noise.

Long time listener. Reached out to one of their guests to buy music and was lambasted by the artist for disagreeing with their prices. Anyway, I’m leaving my furnace on for 5 hours and recording it with my phone while I’m asleep. Then I’m going to tell people it’s Chernobyl. Nuanced!
