“I've been thoroughly enjoying the episodes so far, and can't wait each week for more. I usually get to listen on a morning run, when the stars are still out, and as I look up at them, I get insightful looks into episodes, characters, or ideas in Star Trek. Since I don't often get to talk things through with a friend in this depth, it is great to listen to the podcast to still get some discussion going.
I also find the philosophy discussions to be just right. I don't have much of a philosophy background, and surprisingly it comes up a lot in my masters architecture courses, so hearing a bit more about it in relation to something I love like Star Trek is a great way to learn.
