“I love and listen religiously to everything on the Trek.fm network, but Meta Treks is a huge disappointment. They barely mention Star Trek in most instances, and their philosophical "discussions" amount to nothing more than spouting off philosophical theories and posing questions. Sure, there are no answers in philosophy, but a discussion should attempt to have a direction. Simply saying "determinism" or "Ship of Theseus" doesn't make you philosophical. I hope they improve, but I can't recommend wasting your time on this podcast right now.”

“I was excited when I found out about Meta Treks. It's easy for discussions related to franchises to ignore the underlying messages and themes but MT doesn't do that. It does tend to be heavier on the philosophy than on the Trek, so those looking for a lot of Trek talk might be dissatisfied....”Read full review »
