absolutely loved this series and i cant wait to see more and to see what brought about these strange powers to our titular characters

Recording quality, voices that several actors use and the stupid music you keep pushing, like it’s some important part of the story, it could be completely left out and not change the story one bit !!!!! You can literally hear from one actor, to the one that’s supposed to be standing next to them...Read full review »

Episode 1 What I liked the most was the radio stations and news anchors. I thought that part really added to the story building. The song was great too. The voice actor for Bianca has a really good voice, it’s calming and familiar. I love how anger. So excited for Season 2! Looking forward to...Read full review »

I’ve only recently started exploring audio dramas, and Meteor City is super impressive with its compelling story, believably flawed characters, and wonderful production quality. The voice acting is outstanding (especially Bianca’s VO), and the show does a much needed service in highlighting...Read full review »

I wanted to like this. The lackluster script reading of the supporting characters aside, this felt like it could be a great story. Unfortunately it went nowhere fast and the ending was unsatisfying to say the least. Would not recommend.

It’s so great to find a show with realistic kinds of people as the characters. The premise of going back to a disaster area to help old community is super intriguing and perpetually timely. Some of the sound design is phenomenal, using lots of forms of recordings to weave together both setting...Read full review »

It build up so slowly that I stopped listening at episode 5, there’s barely any suspense. The characters are weak at best. If you’ve listened to every other similar show and there’s nothing else to listen to then I guess it worth a listen. Try Carrier or Sandra instead.

Very good, but the long wait between episodes is tough. Still five stars.
chekhovsnumb via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/02/20
Protagonist’s acting is over the top and the side characters are flat like they’re reading words on a paper with little to no emotion. More practice and quality control is needed. Great concept of a show though.

Good Podcast but super quiet.

This story line was so choppy it felt like I missed whole episodes. Unfortunate because I think it had the potential to be great

This podcast had impressed me and has truly got me interested in the story. Great work and worth the listen

What could have been story turns into a soap opera.
Nalagirl12 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/02/20
So, good enough to keep me listening- I appreciate the sound affects and feeling of being in the story. However, I feel like Bianca’s acting is always in a state of panic which was a little annoying. And the other voices were very blah I could tell they were just reading a script. Overall, it’s...Read full review »

Looking forward to more of this story! Have to roll my eyes at other reviewers’ gay agenda comments. It’s 2020, folks. If you can’t handle queer characters then this content isn’t for you, go watch 90s cable reruns. Anyway, the main storyline is enthralling and I love the concept of Meteor City!
iLoveInuYasha via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/18/20
Idk but I think yes!! I just got the new episode “Now & Then”. Pretty dang good! It gave me a little insight into where this show is going. I think. So what about the gay agenda, just adds flavor.
zackbking via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/10/19
Definitely keeping me interested! I can’t wait for the release of more episodes. I wish the gay agenda wasn’t laid on so thick. From this story you would think straight isn’t a thing.

Overall easy to follow and listen but the storyline is predictable. Trying to go in too may directions.

Loved it! Feels like an old time radio drama—simultaneously tuned into reality and an escape from it. Can’t wait until you return! Keep up the great work!

Story takes place in Detroit, either in the here and now or in the not so distant future. A meteor hit DETROIT and the story is about the aftermath. Bianca is a twenty-something youtuber. She fled DETROIT after the hit, but she returns years later to confront the past using her channel as a...Read full review »

Took two episodes to really find the greatness in this podcast. Really hope they bring it back!
Christianlatson via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/06/19
I was expecting more “sci-fiction thriller” story line. I also wish it had more communication between the actors and not so much a narrator who sounds angry the majority the time.
Sdem86 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/08/19
This is such a unique and thrilling podcast. I wish that the episodes came faster.

I've listened up to episode "Under Lock & Key" and I just keep waiting for something to happen. The synopsis of the show promised us some mysterious goings-on as a result of the meteor, but so far they have stayed a frustratingly small part of the narrative. There is an inordinate...Read full review »

It’s pretty good. I wish the girl was not so mad and is disrespectful to the guys in the show and is not wanting to give him a chance even when he is being way more selfless then her.
batman 117 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/09/19
Meh
The story is good, but the main character seems like she only has one or two emotions. And she always sounds really angry, which is grating after about 4 episodes.

Wish I could give more stars.. the story is excellent and a well produced podcast, but it’s so quiet I struggle to hear it sometimes 🙁

So far a very listenable show with what could become a good plot , well acted and easy to follow. Well worth a listen, would be much better with episodes in straight numerical order instead of those annoying minisodes I can’t even find episode 3 yet I have 4&6 ? Albaroo Australia

I have been trying to get into podcasts but haven’t found one that I liked, until this one! Meteor City has captured my attention and I need more episodes! Can’t wait to see how this audio drama develops!

There's only the first episode so far, but what a kickoff to an intriguing show. Detroit was hit ten years ago by a meteor. Now there's New Detroit right next door. Bianca Diaz is returning to her former home since fleeing the attack, looking for answers and change, and doesn't find...Read full review »
