“On the face if it, Sweeper and Owl are an odd couple, but this works brilliantly on this pod. It covers everything from international test cricket to the typically English aspects of the village / amateur game.
Content and features are perfectly pitched, insight from Woody is fascinating, guests are relaxed and open - and all of it kept humorous, light-hearted and genuine. It’s refreshing to see cricket presented in this way unlike the polished BBC TMS or Times podcasts that can come across more stuffy and serious.
Any one i speak to about cricket i recommend this podcast. After listening to this even those who don’t like cricket - they love it.
