Well done!
Interesting format for storytelling. The narrators seem as though they are building improvisationally on each other’s stories, while still communally having an idea where they want the story to go. They build tension, drama, visual descriptions, and even humor together, seamlessly. However, it doesn’t really matter whether or not it’s improv or scripted, it’s still a fun story. I love it so far, and I look forward to more episodes. The characters, events, and very descriptive narrations are colorful and interesting. I also love what the music and sound effects add to the experience. However, sometimes the music is a tiny bit too loud for the volume of the dialog and can overshadow it. Doesn’t happen too terribly often though. Midst may even appeal to a wider audience. Even though it is reminiscent of Defiance, and Firefly, it’s still its own, new thing, entirely. Definitely worth a listen if you are looking for a new show. -Ami PK

They craft a world you’ve never seen before and the interesting characters that inhabit it. My only one gripe is that the episode have been far too short. I...Read full review »
