This podcast is an exploration of mindfulness: the science, the spirituality, the benefits, and the precautions. Mindfulness has become such a buzzword. Why? Listening to this podcast will shed light on why everyone is talking about mindfulness. The best part? Every episode will feature a mindfulness practice that you can follow. My intention is to briefly share education on mindfulness and then focus on the practice of it.
As a school counselor and LPCA (NC), I have been using mindfulness with my students and clients for about seven years. Now, I’m a yoga teacher and employ it in classes.
