Clint is here to mansplain deconversion to you! The episodes with no guests feature Clint clearly reading straight off pages of typed notes in a monotone. Episodes with guests feature pointless interruptions by Clint, especially female guests. For example, I loved hearing from Katherine North...Read full review »

If you are on a deconstruction journey out of Evangelical Christianity then this is a great podcast to connect to. Clint has a great back catalogue of guests too.

I agree with the opinion that Clint does interject his own experience too often. I really like listening to Clint however when he is interviewing a guest the episode should be focused on the interviewee. I’ve noticed this trait is common in many podcasts. Is it possible that former pastor...Read full review »

I do enjoy this podcast and find it interesting and informative. However I wish the host would stop interrupting his guests in mid-sentence and also continually relate his own experiences.

Although I’ve deconstructed from Christianity over the last 30 years, I still find SO much insight from this podcast. Thank you for putting this out into the world.

I have both been involved in, and studied heaps of cults and different religions. I’d never heard the term Christian reconstruction. Australia has a Christian nationalist (Hillsong) as its leader who’s best mate is a huge Q dude. It’s terrifying.

I’ve been listening for a few months. It’s one of my favorites. Always cohesive, thoughtful and informative. I’ve listened to the Great Lie and American Mythology episode three times. There is so much information packed into this one episode! Thank you Clint.

I started listening to this about a month ago and have learned SO MUCH about Christian Nationalism, why I question my faith, and that I’m not alone. I’ve been introduced to other podcasts on the same subjects and I’m so grateful for this community.

I find these pod casts excellent, have really enjoyed the bonus episodes, I was once caught up in the church, listening to these and others I can see how delusional Christian faith is. What’s really really scary are people like Copland and the fact he has so many followers. Another is Andrew...Read full review »

Whether you’re religious or not, this is a critically important podcast. In the US in particular, more and more laws are being passed that impose evangelical beliefs on everything from our workplace policies to our medical care. Dr. Heacock helps us understand what is happening and why. If...Read full review »

I really enjoy listening to the different topics and guests on this podcast. It is really well done, and if you were looking for information about evangelicism and moving away from evangelicism this is a great podcast to listen to!

We are experiencing a Coup by a Dominionist Minority in our country. Barr, Devos, Pompeo, Murdoch, Cheney...the list goes on. They are corrupting our institutions and forcing their extremely well funded 7 Mountain Mandate on the world. This force is literally the opposite of the teachings of...Read full review »

Thank you for sharing this helpful content. I’m a 2nd generation raised evangelical and the content in this podcast is so helpful! I’m learning what happened to me, why the theology ingrained in my thinking is harmful, how to understand how people (like my family) are still in it & why it’s...Read full review »

I respect you learned individuals but I think you miss the point. My mother died in April 2007. Her death was decided on a decision made by me based on numerous discussions that family members were not privy to or cared to address. Estranged from my brother for four years afterward and then my...Read full review »

This was a podcast I definitely needed to come across. Came out of IFB (independent Fundamental Baptist) about 6 years ago, but still struggle. I grew up very strict and rigid. No pants or anything that was deemed immodest. Holiness. I couldn’t even wear pajama pants to bed because Jesus was...Read full review »

I love this podcast. It’s hard to find well-produced, professional podcasts with an interview format that are done in such a way that it’s FOR the listener. I’ve tried at least 30 or so, and this is in my top 5. Always helpful, and always produced to provide the maximum benefit to the listener.

Finally an (ex)evangelical entry among the myriad excellent Forman (exmo) examples of the ever enlarging and endlessly fascinating religious deconstruction/deconversion podcast genre. A hopeful sign that more sects will follow.

Since I, too, am deconstructing my own faith after 60 years of calling myself a christian, Clint's podcasts are exactly spot on to where I am in my life. He's had a broad spectrum of people he's interviewed, and I look forward to each week when he drops his latest episode! Great work,...Read full review »

A varied and interesting podcast featuring great guests. Mindshift encourages listeners to think critically about religion but does so in a sympathetic and non-judgemental way. Great listening for critical thinkers, atheists, liberal Christians and more. Presenter Clint has a great way of...Read full review »

I really like that this deconstruction podcast has regular people and their experiences. It’s much more interesting to hear all sorts of varied stories from different people- it’s made my journey more bearable, doable, less lonely.

I just started listening to this podcast recently and I really enjoy it. Thought-provoking topics and deep discussion.

Very good listen. Instead of enforcing ideas about christianity the podcast really gets you think and come to your own conclusion about ideas. Very interesting for me in the respect I have education in faith, I couldnt define this podcast to one group of people.
