My favorite podcast this year.
I was 2 when 9/11 happened. I have no memories of the world before or during the attack, just everything after. Sneha’s disappearance is a case that has fascinated me since I first heard about it at 16 or so. It’s one of the only cases I don’t have a pretty solid theory on. I felt like Jon did a pretty nice job of covering the bases, then bringing out more detail at the appropriate times. The pacing was excellent. I also really appreciated that the podcast branched out from itself a bit. Not only did we hear about Sneha, but I learned so much more about the attack. Not the attackers, but the victims and those surrounding the event. I always knew that 9/11 was bad and a traumatizing crisis for the country, but this podcast brought it all into its terrifying perspective. Every interview was well placed and riveting. From Sketchcop to the forensic side of everything to getting a peek into the FBIs investigation and storage system, all interviews, especially toward the end ,were exactly what I didn’t know I needed to know. It’s been a few days since I finished this podcast and I’ve thought about it every day, multiple times a day since. I want to talk to everybody about it (using self control here) because I learned so much. I appreciated the minimal mentions of the attackers, and how conspiracies about the event as a whole were left out. This podcast was unlike anything I’ve ever heard and you better believe I’m getting all my friends to listen to it. Thank you, Jon and friends.

When I say Jon is doing a great job with storytelling, I am not saying he is making up a story. Rather, he is telling a fact-based story so far (3 episodes in). He’s holding my interest and making that terrible tragedy understandable and easy to follow. I grew up in that town, knew members of the...Read full review »

I wasn’t sure after reading the reviews, but took a chance on the first episode and both my husband and I are hooked. Definitely recommend.
