This story hit close to home
[Spoiler Alert] A devastating case. Brilliant storytelling. Kudos to Connie & her team. I was absolutely riveted. As an adoptee, I could relate to sooo much of what Cleo went through. She was failed by so many people, so many times. Personally, I don’t believe the adoptive brother’s story. And I have serious doubts that this was even a suicide. The adoptive mother’s attitude & refusal to be interviewed for this podcast was also very telling. I am glad that Cleo’s siblings have some sense of closure. But for me there remain a lot of unanswered questions. (Fun fact: According to MyHeritage, I have Inuit ancestry, about 7 generations back. Which means at some point I would’ve been classified a métis - a term I had never heard before listening to this podcast. Thanks for the enlightenment!)

I love podcasts that really tell a story and Missing & Murdered does that. Connie and her team do a great job at investigating the facts and reporting the truth!

I love CBC podcasts, SKS is amazing! That being said, this is the worst attempt at a podcast CBC has ever produced. Very disappointed. The story sounds interesting but too slow to keep my interest. The first 4 episodes content should have been cove in 1. Not for me!
