In Space No One Can Hear You Sigh
An excellent concept for a podcast with some very perceptive insights. The guys cover each episode and resist being just a "geek trivia" swap; instead they focus on the deeper meanings and messages (if any). The guys are amusing and pleasant, though Ken's frequent pensive, heavy sighs are as unintentionally dramatic (and distracting) as some of William Shatner's line readings. Love the "computer voice" comic relief, too. Overall, this show is enjoyable for Star Trek fans--if you don't like Trek, this isn't for you. Just be warned: they veer off into college dorm room philosophizing quite often. But, hey, that's why I listen and will continue to do so--except for the upcoming episodes about ST: Voyager. There is virtually nothing worth discussing about that show.Read full review »

Life long Star Trek fan here and discovered Mission Log from the Nerdist podcast. John and Ken do a great job analyzing and discussing each episode. They make reliving them even more fun. Recommended to any Star Trek fans or people interested in checking out Star Trek for the first time.
