“I was under the impression that this would be a fun chat about each episode as we go through each series. Unfortunately the chat about the episode and the star trek universe in general. The Facade is generally revealed pretty quickly and we get into that the show is really about, philosophical and political discussion. The large portion of the show is trying to uncover and "Moral or lessons" that we learn from the show. And Ken Ray (who seems to be of a left wing mind set) miraculously has no trouble discovering that each episode is a clear allegory reaffirming his biases and predilections. I have no problem with liberal preferences as I share them, however I find the painful search for meaning in each show agonizing and forced. Bottom line - If you want a podcast about a desperate search for meaning then this is the show for you. If you want to hear people talk about Star Trek then I suggest you look else where.”Read full review »
