“I grew up in a Christian home with two sisters. We were taught abstinence only! Which set me up for complete failure when I got married as a virgin! I didn’t know what I was doing! I was intimidated knowing I wasn’t his first and in my head kept comparing myself to his ex whom I didn’t know and he hadn’t been with in years. She was his first and last before we were married. He loved me, so why was I so insecure? It was the not knowing what to do and worried he was going to be disappointed for the rest of his life married to little ole me if I wasn’t as good as HER. Teaching abstinence is good but teaching young women to believe in themselves and encourage them to do the right thing in the right moment is more important. We’ve been married over ten years now and I still get self conscious about my performance… why?!?!? He loves me, he loves having sex with me?!?!?! This podcast is a great way for women to secretly or not secretly learn, giggle, and feel more relaxed about the whole sex thing! Thank you Zibby for giggling through these episodes.
