“I could totally relate to this whole conversation of your kids growing up and leaving. We live in Vancouver and my kids may never be able to actually afford to move out😳 but it’s a bit like empty nest syndrome with them out and about on their own. One is in second year of uni and the other just graduated high school. As a SAHM who has suddenly become needed in a very different capacity, I tell you, it has been a huge adjustment. I’m trying to find my identity as me again and not just so and so’s mom. But in the meantime we got a Bernedoodle puppy and based on her velcro dog tendencies I know how I’ll be kept busy for the foreseeable future!
