Self-employment and freelancing is becoming a very popular form of employment. Bea speaks to Steffan and David who are both freelancers and small business owners. They talk about their experiences with this kind of employment, including their methods for finding clients, what they do when someone isn’t paying them, how they worked out their rate, the struggles of being asked to work for free and the problems they’ve run into while doing their own accounts. Kalpana gives us tips on where to go to find a credible accountant, and what to do when a client isn’t paying an invoice on time.
