Subject matter, 10/10, Structure, bingo, Length, snap, Minor criticism….less talking over one another. I may want to mix presenters, but I want that to be my decision. But I’m nit-picking. On the whole a very good effort. 8 on 10.

Really knowledgeable and funny Alan chat. Looking forward to Oasthouse S3 and Big Beacon episodes.

Always enjoy listening to other people talk about and laugh about Alan Partridge content, but I can’t believe after a year and a half long hiatus they would return with one of their needlessly dull feedback episodes, from trumped up Alan fans who believe their own hype. On top of that, add a...Read full review »

Should be awful, a bunch of nerds discussing every tiny aspect of Alan Partridge. But it isn’t.

Four big AP fans who are great when covering the various content in the series but then become typical media types when it comes to politics, suggesting that only left wing voters are worth taking seriously, criticising anyone who voted for Brexit, the Tory Party or UKIP and generally giving...Read full review »

well they’re back and making a series of errors edit: A couple of years after writing this review, I attended a talk by a semi-famous comedian about “what is funny?”. To explain what was “funny” and what was “not funny”, he played the clip of Alan’s product placement of “Sprunt” in Knowing Me...Read full review »

I wasn’t sure what this podcast would be like. It is spectacular. Very funny, great games and interesting facts and opinions. I’ve only seen I’m Alan Partridge and This Time and this podcast has made me fall in love with Alan again. I have just bought all of the series, including The Day Today,...Read full review »

I never, ever leave reviews for things but was spurred on after listening to a solitary episode. They clearly put a lot of effort in but feels like they’re just piggybacking off genuine comedic talent without possessing much in the way of genuine wit themselves. Bland questions for John Robins...Read full review »

Having dealt with HN I really hope Alan turns his attention to podcasts, particularly those where people completely miss much of his intended humour!

Love the pod, I’ve absolutely howled in my car listening to these guys deep dive into the APU! Awesome podcast, highly recommend for partridge fans!

Love this podcast a must listen for all Partridge fans

All this podcast seems to do is point out the things that happen in any given episode like bullet points. Ok bullet points are very AP but not very entertaining for a listener.

Very funny and entertaining set of guys. Not my words the words of Shakin Stevens

Entertaining for nostalgia value for a few episodes but wears thin quickly. Tom Dark seems blissfully unaware how like a young Alan he is. Stuck it out til the end of series two and then waved goodbye.

This is a great podcast for any fan of Partridge, or FOP (an acronym, not an initialism). These casters of pods are evident FOPs who address Alan Gordon Partridge's entire oeuvre with great chatiquetteRead full review »

Some of the discussion is so off point it is amazing for a 'partridge' specific podcast. Also, they have this strange tendency to repeatedly say ‘crucially….’ before stating something utterly inane.Read full review »

Great show, I think they believe the live shows are special, but distracting crowd noise and yelling over each other are not a plus.

Four guys suck the life and humour of various Alan Partridge-related output.

Excellent podcast, perhaps it helps if you’re roughly the same age as these guys, with vague memories of first seeing Alan on VHS. I can understand why you might find them annoying (particularly Will from The Inbetweener’s voice doppelgänger) if they’re 14 years your junior…. but there’s also a...Read full review »

How the hell do you actually get to the content? It’s ads and repetitive ‘banter’ Infuriating to access. I can’t do with the intros and explanations.

Good content presented by annoying media types. How 4 people can miss such obvious jokes sometimes really annoys me. The one that sounds like Will from The Inbetweeners is quite grating. They are thorough though, even if they sometimes don’t see the blatant.

I’ve not said that, why are you saying that? Why are you saying brilliant? This has been a tremendously fun over the top in-depth watch-a-thon (give me strength) of one the funniest comedy characters ever. The banter is pretty good and the hosts make it fun, and mention some good links I hadn’t...Read full review »

Precisely the right level of forensic detail in picking apart a subject which most people only furnish with a passing glance. Their commitment to cross-referencing the expanding canon of the APU is humbling. Fantastic stuff.
