“What a great podcast! It feels like a group conversation discussing the supernatural - like those that I always find myself in with a group of friends as we return from out of town on a long, dark stretch of road at a ridiculously late hour... I especially like the discussion of plausible explanations, which is exactly what happens in a group setting.
The only thing that I don't like is the 'experts,' meaning the reserachers, authors, or active figures in a specific area, that call in and use the podcast as a commercial spot. It totally destroys their credibility and gives the episode a cheap, scammy feel. I don't let that influence my love for the podcast itself, though, or for Derek, who makes a great captain!
