Time Critical Review
I've enjoyed the insights from the gang in the past, but saddened by the departure of Aimee. I don't know the story, but the view from the outside looking in is concerning. It seems as if evangelicals too can play the cancel culture game. ACE, how is this demonstrating the love of Christ? Isn't this just a power play like the rest of the world? That's how it looks to an outsider. Or to put it a bit more sarcastically: What is the best way to convince the world that the evanglical church is chock full of the white, heteronormative, patriarchy espoused in all that scary critical theory stuff? I don't know, maybe booting off the woman who was advancing respectful dialog about gender issues?Read full review »
