The Humor, emotion and horror
Brianna and Kelley separate themselves from the recent glut of true crime podcasts by featuring cases that haven't been done to the point of diminishing returns. Additionally they both seem truly authentic and are not cloyingly sad in their approach to detailing the victims of these horrible acts. In fact they occasionally seem very moved by the cases they cover as evidenced by Brianna's genuine response when talking about one of Chester Turner's victims, who was 6 months pregnant when she died. Another nice aspect is that their riffing is fluid and never seems in poor taste. I think this is because it has the easy air of two friends who are letting us eavesdrop on them after the wine has been flowing for a bottle or two (not that I'm sayin' that it has). The only strike I can register against them is that they are too young to remember when Cisco was dredged from the toxic swamp and unseated Night Train, Thunderbird and Mad Dog 20/20 to become the Lord High Swill for the cash strapped drinker, earning it the nick name "Liquid Crack" in the process. Keep up the good work guys!Read full review »

I love these girls I love the way they tell the stories and the comedy aspect to it is so funny. They don't even have to try it's so natural. I have like 7 true crime podcasts and this became my favorite out of all of them. Keep up the good work girls, much love, Lorena ❤️Read full review »

Love this podcast! The hosts are funny & smart. They know what they're talking about, not just reading stories. The chatter is smart & clever without being gimmicky & cutesy. Great audio & no vocal fry!Read full review »

While I'm down for dark humor (I adore last podcast on the left) but these girls spend a 3rd of the show laughing at and talking about themselves. There is no rhythm, and they get distracted so easily. I was so excited when I found this, but it's torture to my ears. Dial it back ladies. A...Read full review »
