Anger in the way
Whilst the story that this podcast tells is one with which I sympathize, the way that the podcast has been compiled, as a rant against an entire nation doesn’t evoke my sympathy. Unfortunately the narrators come over as hostile, angry and bitter, and whilst they may rightly feel hard done by, it doesn’t make for better insight of the listener into what in fact transpired, and why they have ended up as anti-Mauritian as they have. The story as they tell it doesn’t support their simple argument that the Irish justice system is perfect and the Mauritian justice system is completely flawed. The anger of the narrators hasn’t done the story any good, unfortunately - I will have to use google to fully inform myself of the facts.

More reviews of Murder in Mauritius Podcast
So very sorry for your loss and this totally awful miscarriage of justice. Like another reviewer- I had always thought of Mauritius as being somewhere idyllic and somewhere I would love to visit. I now would not consider it after your experience. I hope that eventually you get justice for Michaela.

A tragic story which was interesting to listen to though I think the audio lacked quality and the actual story lacked structure.

Very interesting case and but I don’t think the audio quality and they way it’s delivered is very enjoyable to listen to. I found myself losing interest many times.
