This was very poorly done. This doesn’t really investigate Lindsay’s murder or provide any valuable in-depth interviews. The only thing achieved was a platform was provided for the boyfriend and his mother to complain about how mean people are to them. It’s interesting how other media coverage is...Read full review »

Strung out and padded. Spends too much time critiquing other podcasts’ inaccuracies. Small amount of new material.

Nothing new, other than the attack on the dad. Just rehashing old things, no theories presented. Save your time and listen to something else

A huge disappointment. Would not recommend at all.

Worst podcast series I’ve listened too. I have listened to thousands of hours of podcast and never left a review until now but felt I needed to. The producers have spent more time trying to discredit casefile and the victim's father than introducing new evidence. Save yourself the time and...Read full review »

Good show until the last two episodes, where is becomes litigious gossip. It just becomes two people complaining and completely trivialises a tragedy. Why even include it? so little of it is even relevant to the case? I tried but couldn’t get though the last episode.

Trying to listen to the first episode and there is a piano or a harp happening in the background whilst the host is speaking. It’s driving me crazy and don’t know if I can continue on. It’s a shame because I was really interested to listen to this podcast.

This is an example of what a true crime podcast should be: original, in-depth, objective reporting that covers all the angles: the good, the bad, the ugly, and the very grey. It provides an unflinching look at what happens when keyboard vigilantes drown in the legends of their own minds and lose...Read full review »

Meh
Host is a good digger but his delivery is poorly suited for a podcast and is amateur at best. At worst it comes across as a drawn out attack on Casefile. I tried listening to this while commuting but several episodes had unnecessary sirens. They claim several times in commercials that this...Read full review »

It’s interesting how none of these podcasters or journalists have followed ‘the money’. The Shirley lady and her family seem to have been doing very well out of what looks like, on the international stage, very sub-par real estate. So, Lindsay is executed days after a cocaine bust in Vancouver....Read full review »

This podcast is great! It highlights the dangers true crime sleuths running amuck with their own crackpot theories. The victim’s father is way out of line. Nice to see this perspective.

Lol
Was decent until the last few episodes went off the deep end and started talking exclusively about how the boyfriend’s mother is trying to sue the internet and ENDORSING it too. Legit this lady is more concerned with randos on the internet than she is her bf’s daughter being murdered while the...Read full review »

I really liked this coverage. It was very eye opening and makes me wonder how many other podcast or television coverage of a murder has such a twisted narrative to persuade the listeners/viewers to believe a certain way. I have deleted that other podcast after seeing how much his stuff is fluffed...Read full review »

The start is good and interesting and then we were stuck finishing this podcast. Having to finish this podcast was even worse. Zander really drops the ball on the last 4 episodes… like he has nothing to talk about but he needed to hit an 8 episode quota. Really frustrating podcast and reporter.

Waste of time
liljakey via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/09/23
This started strong but went off the rails in the last few episodes. It went from focusing on the murder itself to solely focusing on the victim’s father’s “misconduct” and spent what I believe to be WAY too much time and energy on investigating the victim’s father’s blogs. Who cares? Should have...Read full review »

Not a bad podcast if it was properly named. The podcast isn’t about Lindsay or her brutal murder - it’s about clearing the Zailos and attacking Casefile and Dateline. There’s an agenda and it’s not about finding Lindsay’s murderer(s).

Will there be more on this story, or did the reporter get wiped out by the same killer??

all this technology to try and clear their names yet none of it is being used to find out who murdered her?…
PixieMinxy via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 02/26/23
I liked it at the beginning and then it became the Zailo show. What happened to investigating the case of who murdered Lindsay? Why was Shirley never asked about the phone call she made to Lindsay’s friend? In all the time spent with Jason and Shirley it doesn’t seem like any of the tough...Read full review »

This series was a complete waste of time. No new info and no new (or interesting) details. Time is precious — just go to the subreddit.

Waste of time . I don’t care to hear the Zailos whine and display almost no empathy towards her family. If you don’t like Dateline’s reporting, then do your own digging and he’s almost done nothing. I haven’t heard any new information or theories.

Loved this series. A lot of new information that I hadn’t heard before about this case. Would definitely recommend!

The city of Victoria, B.C, has been subject to a lot of misinformation about this seismic unsolved murder. This Capital Daily series finally does right by the victim, her friends, family and community with the most responsible journalism to date. Wonderful reporting around a horrific, tragic case.
