Pure tripe. Also shame on the BBC - so disrespectful it’s hard to believe these two are being given the green light on this

Started listening on a long flight from Ireland to Australia… class!

Only recently started listening and am now bingeing - really interesting stories, lots of humour and chat - don’t want to catch up as I’ll miss having more episodes!!!

I absolutely love it you two are so entertaining and have so many interesting cases ones I haven’t come across and I’m an avid murder podcast listener. I’m so delighted you came back as I loved your last show too. Keep them coming Jennifer with 2 n’s 😂😂😂😂

Laura has such a great storytelling voice and the banter is always hilarious. Iain and Laura have great chemistry which makes sense because they’re married but it doesn’t detract from the subject matter which I feel is always handled with the respect that should be commonplace for True Crime media.

I cannot believe this is still being allowed to air as a podcast. These 2 actually make fun of true crime - this is insensitive to the core and not funny. I hope those poor families don’t get to hear about their loved ones being mocked in this way.

Weird inappropriate tone. Like they’re telling a joke but they’re not funny and someone got brutally murdered.
Goldlion_x via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 04/17/24
I could tell this is a podcast where the host are more interested in hearing the sound of their own voices. The banter and the chatter is so annoying to me. I stopped my run to find a podcast where the story was the focus not the host.

They bounce off each other perfectly and the Irish accents are the cherry on top

I just found this podcast today and I love it so much. They could read from the dictionary and I’d listen to every episode. Lots of stories I haven’t heard of before which is awesome!

Thank you so much. I am already hooked. I am binge watching the first series whilst walking my dogs. I love your interaction with each other and enjoy how you tell each story. Looking forward to more. Maggie

I’m honestly not the biggest fan of some of the hosts other work but the couple balance true crime and light heartedness extremely well. Taking time to paint the picture and highlighting their personalities while telling the stories. They express historical crimes particularly well, where other...Read full review »

I usually listen to music or tv shows while walking my dogs then someone suggested I try podcasts so I thought I’d give it a go, I’ve never listened to them before so wasn’t sure if I’d like listening to them. I had a look and as I love true crime I came across this series, I’m a fan of Iain and...Read full review »

I love this show, came across it while scrolling and so glad I did. Laura and Iain are just adorable and the relationship they have with one another is pure couple goals ❤️ One of the best informative, gripping and all round brilliant true crime podcast I have listen too.

Really enjoying it

Wasn’t sure what to expect as I don’t follow Laura or Iain and came across this randomly. I love the banter between them and the slow build of each of the story. They are really atmospheric and have picked some ‘fun’ murders to describe!

I’m only a few episodes in but I am hooked! I got a video recommended to me that suggested this podcast, and when I came to the show page, I saw some pretty bad reviews, but since I’m a big fan of Iain, I still gave it a go, and I’m so glad I did! The dynamic of Laura and Iain is so great,...Read full review »

I’m loving this podcast with Laura and Iain; they discuss those true crimes which you probably haven’t heard of. It’s new, it’s fresh and not stories that have been done to death (no pun intended) Give it a listen!
LozHope0809 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 03/19/24
I could not follow what was happening, the story was interrupted constantly- it was like listening to a couple toddlers after a party and several fruit shoots describing what they had been doing.
hkdykeu via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 03/11/24
Great podcast. Iain and Laura give a lighthearted look at interesting and unusual cases. They like dogs, have some funny banter and love LFC. What now to love. Listen while im out walking all the dogs

Wasn’t expecting much when I decided to listen to this podcast. However I found it to be a great listen, they look at some varied crimes that I hadn’t heard off in a light hearted way without disrespecting the victims.

This podcast is my absolute favourite! I love how they bounce off each other. I love the way they tell the cases without being annoying or too serious. I just love it!

I want to be one of those people who u talk about on ur like 500th episode and say “for those who remember at the start of the podcast the ______ episode “ and then u go on and to be one of those people who were here from the start and I intend to be luv the pod

This is amazing. The heartedness of the podcast makes a change from the other true crime podcast that I listen to. I look forward to Wednesdays as it is a day that I listen to the podcast.

This is not what I excepted when I first decided to follow the show. The storytelling is poor and deviates off topic regularly. Many of the stories have already been told in a more respectful manner on other podcasts. I found both voices grated quickly and gave up early into the episodes. I think...Read full review »

There’s heaps of droning, fact only podcasts out there. What makes this one great is the banter, lightness and chemistry between the hosts. Plus the cases are a bit more outlandish than your regular. So give it a go and have some fun while listening.
Dainsie via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 02/16/24
Some people reviewing this are taking it far too seriously , its meant to be light hearted and I appreciate this fact , learning the basic facts of the history of a crime whilst having a laugh. Each episode is not too long and doesn't constantly repeat itself as some do. Well done Laura &...Read full review »

I wanted to like this but after literally 10 minutes in I had to turn it off. The hosts were too annoying to listen to. I don’t expect everything to be serious and dry but I definitely can’t listen to a true crime story when the hosts act like this

Ugh
I couldn’t even get through the first 5 minutes. The hosts are irritating. Topic is good so maybe I’ll speed through them talking to the substance

Really enjoy this podcast! Interesting listening to the true crime stories and enjoy the comedy side too.

Lasted until 7 minutes into the first episode, absolute rubbish ! If you want to listen to an actual true crime podcast that respects the victims then look else where , any where but here .

I love this podcast. Laura and Iain have a great rapport (obviously) and pick such great subjects for the podcast. I wish there were more episodes

I love Laura and Iain but not in a stalker like way! They make my day , they are brilliant at telling a good story and keeping me gripped at all times!! Bravo 👏👏 jinty - falkirk

This format of the two overly familiar condescending talking heads trivialising the story ended in 2019 for most serious podcasts. The female presenter should go solo.

Definitely not a true crime podcast. I love true crime podcasts and the comedy aspect is done successfully in others such as My favourite murder who show respect for the victims which these presenters seem to totally lack. Should maybe try a different genre as this is not the podcast for them. Nice to hear new stories that haven’t...Read full review »

Who on earth thinks it is okay to create a comedy duo style delivery with such a tragic story? These events happened to real people who perhaps have family, friends etc who are still living. Thus seems more about the presenters having fun whilst doing this podcast - self indulgent and totally...Read full review »

Two hosts doing silly voices and banter and taking the mickey out of horrific crimes isn’t for me.

Had to stop listening half way through the first episode. Childish behaviour and no respect for the murder victims. This is not a true crime podcast!
