A lack of respect for those involved
I felt the tone of this wasn’t right. These are real stories, real people and some of the people involved are still alive. Iain & Laura were talking about it like it was a TV show, not a heartbreaking tragic real-life case. There are ways of talking about the cases whilst showing respect and not using it as a laugh/ entertainment.

More reviews of Murder They Wrote with Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling
Having been a Detective investigating murders for many years I can assure your there is nothing funny or amusing about them. They are tragic, ugly, desperately sad and gruesome events. Make a factual podcast about investigations by all means but please don’t make them light entertainment.

Tried listening twice but the wittering on is endless, and incredibly childish. It’s like listening to a teenage couple trying to “out-silly” each other. Yikes.

I love these 2. Go listen to something else if you’re a stiff neck!
