“I’m new to the podcast and I have enjoyed some of the episodes that I’ve come across. I’m currently listening to the Sakia Gunn episode and I’m having a hard time staying tuned specifically due to the fact that her name was mispronounced the ENTIRE episode. While that may not be a big deal to most, as a young black woman, it’s makes me feel like there was no care involved with the reporting of this case and more like it’s just content to put out. If that’s the angle you’re going for you’re doing a great job, but if you want to portray someone who actually cares about what’s being reported through your platform please take the time to make sure you’re at the very least saying the name of the VICTIM right.”
