Yet another 2 person podcast where they mention a famous person in their pitch but they don’t talk TO the guest , but rather just talk about them. Isn’t this what biographies and Wikipedia is for? At least give us audio quotes or something different.

This podcast is so much fun and interesting. It’s so great to listen to women who love groupies as much as me. I would love to be able to listen to the first 10 episodes though.

Sloppy, lazy, superficial cut and paste content. Irritating hosts.

The premise for this pod is great, but it’s let down by two very light weight host, who have’ nt got a podcast/radio voice between them, just listened to the first 5 mins of the Cherry Vanilla pod, who writes the scripts!! RUBBISH…

As a younger rock n’ roll fan—who has spent several summers reading TONS of rock n’ roll books and autobiographies on musicians, muses, and groupies— I am truly so happy to have found this gem of a podcast!! As much as I thought I had known about the women of rock n’ roll, every new podcast I...Read full review »

These women are the FOUNDERS of Groupie and Muses podcasting. I have been introduced to so many amazing people behind the most epic labels and bands, and their interviews are INSANE! The stories and dialogue are amazing, and and I’ve even learned a thing or two in regards to the feminist...Read full review »

Love the combination of local music scene, Toronto references, female music history and articulate friends interacting. Would you consider doing Michelle Phillips and Cass Elliot? Plus the next generation Wilson Phillips. Cass Elliot did not die choking on a sandwich - it would be nice if you...Read full review »

I love the idea of this podcast and it has the potential to be amazing but the episodes aren't long enough. I also feel like the host talks too much about her local music scene and her own life. There’s enough material for that to be it’s own podcast. I just want to hear more about the women...Read full review »

I started listening to Muses a little over a year ago. I was instantly hooked. I’ve been around RnR, heard the stories, and read the books for years but Muses uncovered so much material that was new to me. An amazing focus on magnetic women and the men and other women who were drawn to them. The...Read full review »

I have been listening to this podcast for years and it’s something that I look forward to. I especially love the episodes where Chanty and Lynx have read a book (or many books) on a muse and they tell her story in a beautiful way—with heart, soul and nothing but respect. What is it with the droll, raspy, valley accents that is so popular among today’s female youth? I cannot get past it. Plus, it just seems to be lazily slapped together. Major disappointment.

I LOL’d when talking about Harvard, one host asks the other, “Where is Cambridge again?;” and the narrating host definitively answers, “Its in New York — its not Manhattan; it’s like Connecticut suburb.” If you love the sound of vocal fry delivered by nitwits, this is the podcast for you!
