There is promise.
The critics choose and discuss a nice variety of music, and they like Top 40 radio hits as unabashedly as they like a lesser-known indie rock band. They're not snobby about their tastes, and that's nice. My issue is with the discussion itself. Quite often reviews start out with something along the lines of "I don't really know anything about X song or X musician, but I like it," which is far from insightful or even helpful, particularly as the actual clips are under 10 seconds. It's pretty easy to find basic biographical information about pretty much any artist you'd like to discuss, so a little homework when necessary would be nice. Even more frustratingly, far too often at least one of the three (rotating) critics has either not listened to a song up for discussion, or has only listened to a couple seconds of it. What? This is a podcast from a professional and respected outlet that presumably wants listeners. But if they're not even going to listen, why should we?Read full review »

I found this in the music category, it should be placed elsewhere. No music found here folks, just some kids taking about the latest hit songs :-(
