Easily the best baseball podcast I’ve ever heard. Dan Wallach is an incredible host and interviewer. He is extremely thorough in his preparation and does an excellent job of presenting multiple facets of the baseball community through knowledgeable and relatable guests. A++

I love the long form, in-depth interviews that Dan provides. Not all subjects can be wrapped up in 40 minutes and Dan gives each guest the time they deserve to enlighten the listener. He is an incredibly well-prepared interviewer that allows the subjects to inform and entertain. An added bonus...Read full review »

I started listening to this podcast this year and couldn’t be more pleased. This is one of best, if not the best podcast I regularly listen to (of about 10). Why? First, it’s top notched baseball history and more Important, Dan is possibly the most prepared podcaster I’ve listened to. Then a...Read full review »

Interviews with executive director of the Babe Ruth birthplace and the great granddaughter of “Doc” Adams were outstanding! Why isn’t this founding father of baseball in the HOF?

I am not someone that usually leaves reviews, but I’m going to for this podcast. I just finished listening to the Phil Dixon episode, and that’s all it took for me to subscribe and leave this review. Came into this episode with no knowledge of this podcast and just added it because it sounded...Read full review »

Dan does a great job of doing in-depth interviews with people who represent a wide cross-section of the world of baseball. Anyone who is a fan of the game, especially its history, will enjoy listening. The discussions with his mom at the end add another level to the podcast.

I am so happy I happened across the Instagram account for this show and got on board early, because it is a treasure. Dan is a terrific interviewer and wise beyond his years (it helps that I felt an immediate connection as a similarly-aged guy also from the Chicago ‘burbs), and he holds his own...Read full review »

Dan gives a fantastic, well researched interview. He has a casual style that brings out the best in an interviewee. When I first saw that episodes are 2 hours long, I thought “I don’t have time for a pod cast this long”. Five minutes in, I was changing my mind and making time to hear the whole...Read full review »
