“As a long-term listener of the My Millennial Property podcast, I recently had the pleasure of listening episode 511 of the Podcast featuring Deborah Holmes, founder of the Avalon Centre. This episode was particularly noteworthy as it focused on homelessness and how we can solve the current housing crisis.
Deborah shared her insights on the issue of homelessness and highlighted the importance of the "housing first" model as a solution. This model provides people experiencing homelessness with a stable place to live, along with the necessary support services, which ultimately empowers them to address other issues affecting their lives.
Deborah Holmes was an exceptional guest and shared her own journey and experiences of starting the Avalon Centre, a charity that provides services and support for those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. She was very knowledgeable about the issues surrounding homelessness and provided listeners with a wealth of information and insight into solving the current homelessness and housing crisis.
The episode was a perfect blend of informative and engaging content. Deborah's expertise and passion for her work shone through in her responses, making for a compelling listen. The host of the show, John Pidgeon, did an excellent job of guiding the conversation, asking thoughtful questions and allowing Deborah to share her views.
This episode of the My Millennial Property Podcast was both wholesome and informative, and I look forward to listening to more episodes in the future.”Read full review »
“Love the content about regional investments.
This episode helped me with some research for forming up questions about essential housing for our rural and regional councillor podcast.
