"Instead of Saying I Need To, I Have To, Say I Want To, I Choose To" - Nik Frey, Breathe worker for Porn Addiction

Description
Niklaus Frey worked as an HR Business Partner for the Trading Floor of an Investment Bank while secretly suffering from a porn addiction for 15 years. The addiction robbed him of the will to take care of his health and made him mentally and physically ill culminating in a herniated spinal disc that needed surgery as it paralysed his leg. He no longer had any motivation or purpose in life. Finding himself frustrated, angry, lonely, lost, he felt powerless and at the mercy of his addiction. Masturbating even though he didn't want to anymore. And then he discovered breathe work. A practice that in his first session he felt his heart and intuition open and expand again for the first time since his childhood and the circumstances in his life started to flow and fall into place again. Niks' vulnerability, courage, and authenticity are felt throughout this interview and it was truly such a delight and pleasure to speak with him. During our conversation, we spoke about addiction’s root causes being disconnection, how to spot addiction in our lives, how porn affects our sex lives and the benefits of not ejaculating.  This podcast is truly fascinating and filled with both nervous and genuine laughter as we speak on the tabooed subject of sex and masturbation.  You’ll be listening right through to the end - I am sure!
