Long, long time listener here David puts out great content. I wish he would continue putting out podcasts. I don't need to watch him or download video size files.Read full review »

The only bad part is that as David does more and more YT content, the podcast seems to be more and more neglected.

I am obsessed with everything about his podcast and YT channel! You can tell DL is extremely passionate about the novels and the symbolism contained in them. This is the perfect podcast for ASOIAF nerds like myself. I’m currently doing a re read of the novels and this I a great companion to it!

Unique Song of Ice Fire podcast. I love the mythology which is missing in all the GoT review and chapter rereads. Love this. I’m glad that I found this in 10/2021. I’m living the story in a new way. Thank you. This is spectacular.

Engaging and entertaining one man show with a unique and intelligent perspective on the Song of Ice and Fire books. Leaving the medieval politics of Game of Thrones TV show far behind, this creator digs deep into language and symbology, revealing the mystery and horror underneath.

LmL does a very good job identifying and analyzing symbolism found in ASOIAF! He makes many interesting theories based on that symbolism, and present it all in an entertaining way. Some of his theories are a little out-there, but most make perfect sense I think. They’re all fun though, give it a...Read full review »

LML isn’t for the casual reader. This analysis of ASOIAF is a deep dive into symbology, mythology and respect for truly great literature. LML provides great access to the multi-dimensional/layered story Martin is telling, and he always ties it back to the story of the characters; to the human...Read full review »

We all know that Harrenhal has always been an unlucky seat since Aegon the Conqueror torched it with Balerion’s dragon fire. In the Fire and Blood book we discovered that anyone who held Harrenhal met an unfortunate end during the reign of Maegor I. There was House Towers, House Butterwell. It...Read full review »

“... a green seer.. he ate.” - one might think Martin shows us that Bran ate a green seer (when ate a tree paste)... creepy (well, nothing new)

LML is easily in the top tier of ASOIAF podcasters. Most importantly, he’s got thoughtful, unique analyses, but he’s also pretty entertaining. I highly recommend checking him out on YouTube too for A+ visuals
