“The narrator is a story-teller of passion whom has educated me about tales which permeate the country in which I live.
One might initially bulk at an american recounting these stories, but this infact helped me use new eyes to view my world different. These stories bring life to the 'great unwashed' of Thackery and the 'anonymous poor' whom have collectively authored and honed these stories that have existed in the zeitgeist.
