Biting honesty with a heart that’s in the right place. Fun stuff, great topics.

Rare in the sense that not many podcasts are this transparent... And he puts one out about every six months. But it’s cool because we love it when they drop. If you were an American evangelical in the 80’s and 90’s, you need this for perspective.

This was one of the first shows to get me hooked on my podcast addiction. Love the stories and hope to hear more episodes in the future.

Great Podcast, one of my favorite singers on out there. I really like the way he looks at faith and just trying to do the right thing by it. If you have not read his book (Simplicity), it gives you a background on where he is coming from.

But this is one of the best shows on iTunes. It brings me the feels, the sweet, salty, sweaty, teenage feels. It brings me back to a time when things were simpler, and the industry even in its earlier days had a sore stomach. Keep them coming Mark, I do believe in fairies. I do. I do.

Even with the cussing I feel more blessed with this program then I felt visiting A Mega Churchs satelite campus. No more donuts no more powerpoint this, speaks to me

Such a great show. Wonderful insight, guests and humor. Between Mark here and Billy Power over at Urban Achiever I get my 90's "Christian Rock" fix ;-)

Heartfelt and honest. It's been a pleasure to listen to each and every episode. Like many here, I've been a fan of Mark since The Crucified. To hear about those days from the man himself is fascinating. However, the stuff that has nothing to do with his own bands is just as much so. There's such...Read full review »

My only complaint would be that I wish there were a *bleeped* version. I’d like to able to listen to it at work/with the kids. But otherwise, great show, good fun, good tunes, great memories.

A candid and thoughtful look into the world of music and life in general.

We're all screwed without it, right? I've been a fan of Mark Salomon ever since I heard Stavesacre's song The Eclipsing on Songs From The Penalty Box Volume 2. That's how we found out about music back in the day. The topics Mark is discussing are relevant, the conversations are needed, and Mark...Read full review »

There's some things I could pick apart with the language but it's not excessive from what I've heard so far and it's opinion. I'm a HUGE Stavesacre fan - especially the "Friction" era. That album was so unlike anything else I heard in the scene, IN A GOOD WAY. It hit me like a ton of bricks. I...Read full review »

Tufff talk from a tufff dude and his guests. Been following since Absolutes and seen lots of Acre shows. First was at New Church, Edmond, OK with some memorable nights in TX. Taken this music with me all over Macedonia, Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan and lots of other places. Been there for me through...Read full review »

I saw the Crucified my freshman year of high school and it totally changed my life. I started a band like the day after that concert. This podcast pulls the curtain back on Mark’s life and mind, as did his book Simplicity, which I also highly recommend.

It's great to have a show that talks about life, what didn't happen and what we think of it now. It's also great to hear old stories from the guys who gave a lot of us the gas to get through this life. Kudos Mark!

Mark’s the real deal. Honest, humble and unassuming. Great stories and a wonderful journey through life.

Another hit out of the park for Mr. Salomon. The honesty and the wanting to be transparent really shows! Thanks for letting us in on your conversations

Oh the humanity! What can I say? This show is more fun than a barrel of monkeys. Seriously I was laughing and brought to tears at the same time. And reliving the past at times because I was there for a small part of this history...

Never was fills in the gaps with the behind the scenes stories that we have been hungry for for years. I have been a fan of Mark since the first time he gave me attitude at C-Stone years ago. I don't want to let go of these days . Keep em coming!

but i will spill a few anyway. Mark’s bit of raw, forthrightness, and insight into the business we call “Show” er “Music” and the experiences of a touring musician are great to hear. I suppose Jason C. has some ground to stand on eh?

Loved Mark Salomon's lyrics and his take on things via podcast format is fascinating. Really enjoying these episodes and his desire to find out what happens when we make plans and God laughs.

Mark is one of my all time favorite artist. He has influenced some many people in many different ways. Great to hear from you again Mark. Keep them coming.

I'm glad I found this as it started. It's honest & interesting & I'm genuinely interested in much more. Oh & Mark mentioned at the end of episode 2 almost apologetically that he wouldn't focus on having friends as guests. Stop it - that's what we want! Well I do anyway... Those are the...Read full review »

Mark is one of my favourite singers so I was excited to listen to his talk and engage in discussions with folks. I’ve been a huge fan of Mark’s since the very early days. His honesty and integrity, both artistically and personally, have always been an inspiration to me over the years. I really love the sincere conversation. I've always been a fan of Mark and all that he has done. I also love the conversations of the old music I grew up on... And actually still love. I'm eager for more!

As a fan of Stavesacre's lyrics and the book Simplicity, it's refreshing to hear Mark's voice in conversation. While some from the 'T&N crowd' (for lack of a better word) have chosen to leave the faith, Mark continues to wrestle and yearn for honest/messy conversation that contemplates the...Read full review »

Mark's been around. He knows a thing or two about life. His podcast is fantastic and it sounds great too. He must have a top notch producer mixing this thing! Keep up the good work. We're proud of you!
