“If you are to any degree an introvert, or neurodivergent, stay away. “The Lifestyle” is only for self-impressed, neurotypical, narcissists who nearly completely lack any potential for empathy or introspection. It’s 100% transactional, “FOMO”-based, and extraordinarily mentally unhealthy for anyone not in that narrow category of popular high school people. (This comes from personal experience, having fallen for the hype, the fantasy, only to my horror and detriment of mental health, discovered just how twisted, manipulative, gaslighting, and narcissistic the participants are.) Nothing happens in real life to any degree as they will try to sell you on it. They just want more people to normalize the mindset so they can predate on them. You can follow the histories of everyone who talks about their experiences as one involving more and more personal compromise, less integrity, less honesty, less potential for introspection, as things progress. It’s not unlike an addiction or a cult. Do not believe the hype, it is false. “If it sounds too good to be true …” Truth and honesty don’t arise from saying that’s what you do. It’s _from_ what you say and do. Critical listening skills will reveal this. Hint: If you’re monetizing yourself in a sexually compromising manner, you (counterintuitively) don’t value it. I guarantee the emotional damage and anguish from anyone involved who isn’t a Narcissist, is extreme and takes years of therapy to recover from.”
