I just listened to the recent episode about the Israeli hostage rescue. Rebecca was interviewing a man and literally cut him off mid-sentence to shriek “The Palestinians - hundreds have been killed!!” He was just about to say that. Rebecca couldn’t stand to hear some good news regarding the...Read full review »

They constantly repeat the same stories. Better than most but still full of fluff pieces like yoga puppies and un-informative trauma porn.

been an avid listener of bbc news, once radio, then podcast. now that a public funded service that used to offer a world perspective is now blocking access to people for a paywall is a disgrace and a shame. Way to spit in the faces of its listeners. So disappointing.

I used to consume your reporting as factual- I know you are a biased media source- your views on Isreal as well as your Your hospitals are being infiltrated by Hamas it is a Hamas/ Terrorist issue- Speak In a truthful - righteous way and maybe the world would take you seriously- You are...Read full review »

While listening to your recent coverage of the smaller efforts attempting to get aid into Gaza (particularly the Catholic(?) charity working to join the maritime effort in the works), this occurred to me: Your interviewer seemed to want to focus on the smaller size (“drop in a bucket”) of this...Read full review »

Why is it you only present the same news topics everyday. Gaza’s Hamas Israel, Ukraine Russia, Trump & Biden and some lame opinion piece about a topic that nobody cares about? Surely there are other things happening around the World, I’m unsubscribing because I can’t stand it anymore.

still best world news source! but more inconsistent and less careful than they were 10 years ago but better about other things.

Clearly pro hamas. They bias reporting supports the terrorist HAMAS.. While making the Israel defense forces look like the villains.. When the IDF found the tunnels under the Shifa hospital.. BBC suddenly falls silent. BBC never blames the terrorist HAMAS on all of its reports

When it comes to straight forward, hard news, the BBC reigns supreme.

BBC loves reporting on things like the invasion of migrants at the US southern border, but refuses to report the cause of the crisis because it goes against their narrative. The fact they refuse to mention is that this crisis was created by the policies of the US Democratic Party and President...Read full review »

Completely ignore the jeering and cheering of Gazans when broken and raped dead bodies were paraded after the Oct 7 slaughters. Instead they portray the populace that glories in Jews murder as innocent victims, not complicit enablers. Not “News”.. jihadist propaganda. Disgusting.

The journalistic malfeasance happening now in regards to Israel/Palestine is disappointing. It reminds me of the fake WMD’s after 9/11.

News hour is by far the best podcast I listen to every evening before bed and early in the morning to get an extensive understanding of the news that matter. The reporting is excellent!

Great stuff, but please improve your climate reporting! I’m hearing a lot of ‘Net Zero by 2050’ - this is a misleading goal. The IPCC (UN scientists) say we have to cut GHG emissions in half by 2030 and only after that is reached is Net Zero by 2050 a safe goal. Discussing ‘Net Zero by 2050’ and...Read full review »

Cool, what used to sort of be the gold standard of public access to information has now privatized themselves and negated many from hearing them.

I appreciate the BBC for offering a different perspective from U.S. news offerings, and for bringing news from around the world. However, BBC “reporting” continues an accelerating slide toward delivering only extreme liberal views on every subject in every report. With the absence of balanced,...Read full review »

There’s two sides to every opinion, and certainly many hold a Republican view in Australia, but did you actually bother to research who Lidia Thorpe is before you interviewed her? Did you not realise how polarising she is in this community, her expletive ridden rants at striptease clubs at 2am...Read full review »

Your fitness author doesn’t know what she’s talking about… Exercise can be as easy as climbing/running a set of stairs. So, too dirt is a preferred surface for running versus asphalt or concrete which can cause shin splints. A specialist vs an author leads to credibility…

If the best informed perspectives on world events are derived from multiple, independent sources; and, if BBC News is an objectively high quality news agency — then, the best informed listeners will include BBC News in their collection of news sources.

Nice to finally see there are women in today’s Republican Party. Especially, with “balls” & conviction! She has my respect and my vote if she decides to run with a vision & plan to enable & empower young women in this country for the 22nd century, NOT the 18th century 🤞
