2010-14 = Classic; 2015 = Stone Age comedy
In the years 2010-14 Newsjack was a breath of fresh air, funny & witty with great punchlines & sketches with sometimes jokes that would span the series. The brilliant Miles Jupp, Justin Edwards & Romesh Ranganathan made excellent presenters as they are comedians. Come 2015, the cast & jokes are sub-par with what sounds like canned laughter tracks at some obviously telegraphed punchlines. The Marvin Gaye sketch for example not only unfunny & without original thought but was just lazy. More thought provoking comedy can be found waiting for a Southern Train at London Bridge than in Newsjack in 2015. But worse than the above (& I haven't even mentioned the crude and not even in the same country impressions) is the comedy & presenting skills of Nish Kumar. Both are non-existent. A broom from the Wood Lane studios would do a better job, hell the cast of Made in Chelsea would be funnier than Nish. The once legendary intros have now becoming affairs in the obvious with jokes so dated, Nish missed his calling 4 years ago. If you're looking for 30 minutes of noise for your morning commute then please download but if you're looking for comedy, I Wouldn't recommend this once great show.Read full review »

What a great show. People are comparing it with the News Quiz and the Now Show (not a bad place to be!), but this is the Now Show without the rubbish bits. You know the bits I mean...the singing bits. I know they have been there for a long time, but so have the French. That doesn't make it...Read full review »
