Brodie Kern joins Nick in this episode of the Next 90. Brodie, who is 25-years old, talks about his life of ups and downs. Brodie shares his numerous failures in the world of business, addiction to alcohol, and problems during his wife’s pregnancy with his first child. However, Brodie refuses to let his tragic moments pull him down. Brodie reveals that he is now a recovering alcoholic, a stable businessman, and a happy father.

In this episode of the Next 90, Nick shares that his kids brought two goldfish home after spending time at the Orange County Fair. Nick believes that neither of the fish will survive over night, which might cause pain to his children. After putting them in a small container, Nick notices that the fish look gloomy. However, he discovered that the fish became livelier after being moved to a larger space.

Going all in has been the way that Nicks guest today, Andre Box Haus has always run his game. From football to baseball and finally to boxing, he puts everything he has into being the best at what he is focused on doing. Opening his business The Box Haus has been challenging and beneficial not only to his clients but to himself. When your body is right, everything else falls into place. Boxing has given him the primal edge that Andre needed to succeed in business and life.

Nick is in the studio with a great friend, Mr. E aka King Jeff Bhaedhayajibh. The man with the big last name and Nick have been friends since High School. Crossing entrepreneurial paths every 5 or 6 years, the two were able to watch the different highs and lows of each other's lives. Jeff was hit with a tragedy, a divorce and he began to question everything. His experience with The Next 90 was uncomfortable, and he had to face it all and share it with strangers.

In the business world a ‘lead’ is gathered information used to guide, especially by going in advance. People pay big money for leads in business, but in our personal lives we are our own greatest lead. So, invest in you! It’s simple, but not always easy. Nick reminds us that the lifetime value of our business, family, marriage, or whatever is important to us will always have a value equal to or greater than what we put in.

Nick has been thinking about what a great mother he has; she is a saint. Nick has been surrounded by loving, strong women his whole life. His Mom has to endure so much, and it has made her incredibly strong; including the divorce from Nick's Dad. Nicks Father was fit and worked out a lot; always running, until the day he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. It was an awakening inside of him, and Nicks parents reconciled.

It is amazing what happens when you go; not being concerned about perfection, or failures. Mindset and Association most times go hand in hand; because someone goes to an Ivy League school, their associations are more prominent, affecting their mindset to follow. Your habits and patterns will become into alignment with your mindset and association. Saying yes to a smaller scale of targets will limit you to what your outcomes will be. Nick is a perpetual student and never above those who are around him. He has been given many gifts inside the association of Warrior; the relationships that he has forged. Physically manifesting things that you want in your mind, which is the secret and then putting a plan into action is what the Next 90 is about. Reviewing a video of the past 3 ½ years of his life brought Nick to tears. Seeing the breakthroughs, the outcomes make him proud of the work he has done. It has been anything but perfect and glorious; there have been extreme highs and extreme lows. We are all responsible for our happiness. Nick wasn't doing the things he loves to do or does typically to lead, inspire and being present for his family. He had to hit the pause button because he knew he was overwhelmed. Faced with the upcoming 3rd birthday of his son, Nick is feeling nostalgic and realizing how much he loves being a Dad. This journey was birthed from Nick not knowing how to be a Man let alone a Father. Where along our journey do we stop having the boisterous dreams of a child? Looking at his children, Nick realizes that he is enough for them and his wife; learning to be enough for yourself is the challenge. The CORE 4 directly correlates with loving yourself and honoring your commitments.

Nick is fired up as he heads into another “Blackout” which will change the lives of 4 men this week. Shedding the labels they have been holding on to and resurrecting themselves from the cages they have been held captive in. Ninety days of coaching, phone calls and finding out who they are, will now culminate in the literal “Blackout”; liberating them, resulting in the ultimate breakthrough. It is essential to surround yourself with a group of people who listen, support and stand with you.

Having a podcast is more than just a commitment, it can be therapeutic. Showing up can make you feel better about yourself across the board. Entitlements in relationships are b******t; they are privileges, not a right. Relationships are continually growing and changing, which requires change and growth in you. Knowing someone from a year ago doesn't mean s**t, because of the changes they make in themselves as they move forward. It is essential to cut out the relationships that are cancerous.

Being sober in Las Vegas and connected to what he wants, his wife, his body; Nick is in a different space this year. He has been stepping up his Core 4 through writing and meditating, connecting the concept of visualization, meditation, journaling, and manifestation. Losing a mindset of scarcity, learning to leave the large behind by not becoming stagnant are key; becoming comfortable and complacent won’t propel you forward.
