A big thank you for this brilliant series!
This is by far the best podcast I have listened to in a very long time! The reporting is sensitive, objective, eye-opening and often heart-wrenching. I especially liked the section on Mikhaïl Gorbachev, whose great achievements deserve to be celebrated in Russia today, but Putin was “too busy” to attend his funeral. This speaks volumes…. A big thank you and bravo to you, Arkady, and to all the wonderful, brave people who contributed to this brilliant series.

More reviews of Next Year in Moscow
An articulate and poignant portrait of Russia and surrounding context to the war in Ukraine. Beautifully paced and presented without exaggeration and told with sensitivity and compassion. Highly recommend.

Superb content. Much looking forward to the next. But slightly over sped diction suggests production issue. Voices ate verging on a gabble. I don’t get this when I choose vocalised option over print when on line otherwise. Thank you Youobviouslydon’twantmyreview

Thank you for giving these people a voice. There are good people in any country. It’s heart-warming to hear them speak in this podcast.
