“I'm a big fan of DJ and have followed him closely ever since he came to NFL media. Big fan of Path to the Draft as I am a draft-lover, so I have watched a lot of DJ on TV already. I also listen to all of the rest of the NFL media podcasts and I've always loved episodes where DJ jumps in.. So I was very happy to see him do his own.
After 5 weeks, I'm very pleased with what he has done so far. I've learned a lot and I'm always interested to hear DJ's views on what is going on. The only real issue I have with this pod is the fact that DJ is primarily by himself. He has obviously had many guests but I think this pod would benefit greatly from a secondary host just to maintain conversation easier. I love TD but he is not enough of a football fan (no offense bud!!!) to make their dynamic interesting. They would gain a lot by adding someone who is a big fan but not a true expert (maybe someone from Around the NFL, or Handsome Hank perhaps. Someone of that caliber). Bucky Brooks has a great dynamic with DJ but they already do CFB 24/7 together so it would be sort of moot. Either way, it isn't for me to decide... But it would be nice to see someone else join DJ permanently.”Read full review »
