I had almost forgotten how much I could love hearing a scary tale, just as I adored the classic serial radio shows I listened to long ago, with my Dad beside me to make me feel safe from the gaze of The Shadow as a child. I always enjoyed the thrill of a scare from a safe place.
I’ve found that desire for a good fun scare again, and am loving the exciting thrills too, all wrapped up in the dramatic voices sharing stories written by a variety of authors I seldom see getting enough attention.
