Nightmare Next Door
Make the alliteration stop! The writing on this show is truly awful and, by its style, trivializes what happened to the victims. Makes the whole thing like some cheesy/cheap detective novelette. “If the clean coffee cups were cozy in the cupboard… That might be the ticket to pegging the perp at the scene.. could a vacuuming villain with a vendetta or a hard hat hit man be guilty of murder? And then … the amazing work of a cubicle colleague changes the course of the case… “ Arrgh!!

I can barely follow the story because of all the different background sounds/music. How many screechy noises are needed to tell a story??…UPDATE: still has crazy loud background music and it’s ridiculous music too! It literally sounds like a work training video. I just can’t listen anymore.

I have been searching for my next true crime fix. I am pretty picky and this one is great! Great host with great stories. I enjoy how he speaks with the families and investigators. These cases are interesting and ones that aren’t as familiar as ones that are done over and over. Keep it up!!!

The content is good, as are the interviews, etc., but the writing for the host/narrator is so filled with ridiculous puns and dramatic emphasis that it gets too be too much very quickly. If I want “campy” I can watch the Lifetime movie.
