Please add chapters, I don’t care about fishing and pocket knifes. “Hey bro, what if we do this or that yadda yadda. Ballers like a boss, dude”

I was a little sceptical about signing onto another “two nerds talking about programming” podcast, but when they spent an entire episode talking about opportune times to go fishing and how to find beavers, I knew this was the show for me.

I have no intention of listening to 15 minutes of US politics ramblings, will give it a miss.

I listen to a bunch of dev podcasts sporadically (Full Stack Radio, Laravel Podcast, Boagworld, etc.) but this is the only one I never miss. Not only are Caleb and Daniel very in the know in the Laravel/full-stack world but they are also extremely relatable and always enjoyable.

“The socks for dishes are forks.” Very existential discussions surrounding laundry, dishes, t-shirts, clothing brands, and occasionally religion. Sparks joy.

I’ve been a subscriber to TwentyPercentTime podcast and now that this came out I had to subscribe. Great content as always.

NOTE: DO NOT RECORD ME A SONG!!! While Caleb is clearly super talented, I have no plans to merge my name into a pop song. NOTE 2: DO NOT PLAY "THE LARAVEL GAME" IN THE CAR WITH YOUR FAMILY!! OK...review? I have listened to lots of developer podcasts. NPTM is funny, deeply technical (a...Read full review »

I discovered this podcast recently when someone told me about Twenty Percent Time. Listed to the last episode there and was hooked. I quickly jumped over to the new podcast and have been listening to them for the last 3 days.

While in other podcasts you listen what’s new in past 10 seconds of the Web Development world, in “No Plans To Merge” you’ll take on journey on a road where topics like the feelings of code; open source dramas; Disney; and tadpoles are debated – In other words, the real problems are addressed.
vitorcaneco via Apple Podcasts · Portugal · 04/08/19
Just like Laravel, these guys are opinionated. As someone who works from home and doesn't have a lot interaction with other developers, an episode of No Plans to Merge is like having a lunch break with a couple developers who are much smarter than me and fun to be around.Read full review »

Fans of the previous encarnation of this show, "Twenty Percent Time", already know what's up. For those new, this is a great programming podcast. Daniel and Caleb discuss a variety of programming topics from Laravel tips, to their productivity hacks, as well as what they're...Read full review »

Daniel and Caleb have a great thing going here. Sort of a laid back dev podcast, with all the good stuff - debating topics, disagreements and banter - that works well when you want to learn something or just enjoy a moment of time to yourself.
TeamJakic via Apple Podcasts · Slovenia · 04/06/19
The web development community is like a diamond - there are many facets, all with their own inherent beauty and reward. Every week these guys open us up to a new and fresh view of one of these points of view yielding many moments of “yes, now that I think it about, that is something I can...Read full review »

The only reason I’m reviewing this is so that you sing a song for me on Twitter. It has everything to do with the bribe, and nothing to do with the high quality that is this podcast. Make no mistake, a bribe is stronger than quality content, and this review is proof that you’ve psychologically...Read full review »

Great podcast for interesting and intriguing dev news and community conversation, as well as topics that are relatable to the circumstances and events that many devs encounter day-to-day in their own projects.

The postcast is a great insight into the minds of two professionals as they try to work things out. Often one describes a scenario and you are thinking, "stop, wait.. what?" and then one of our hosts asks the same question of the other. Sometimes down rabbit holes but always coming back...Read full review »

I have my playlist set to autoplay, but when I see a new episode of No Plans to Merge come in, I bust out of that to listen. What I like about the show is its laidback-ness. Yes, they get deep sometimes and challenge my spirit, but that's what's great about it. It's like having...Read full review »

A great podcast, worth listening to, not only for all the great laravel stuff but also Caleb and Daniel who are genuinely funny. Definitely check out the episode Does PHP sucks. By far the most enjoyable debate I’ve listened too for the subject in the past years.

Amazingly thoughtful and entertaining ramblings of two software developers. Do listen.

Caleb and Daniel unassumingly deliver deep, intellectual conversations, often springing from the most trivial web development topics. For me, the show is a thirty minute meditative experience. Namaste.
