Some aspects tone deaf
I enjoyed this podcast until I got to the episode where Take Care of Maya was discussed. I had to stop listening as I couldn’t believe the tone deaf commentary. It seemed that they only cared about the impact this would have on their cause, with no regard for Maya and her family.

Important story, well told, and well-produced.I can’t stop listening. The true crime addict in me is hooked. And I’m glad this will increase awareness about this form of child abuse to help prevent more children from being harmed.

I was amazed from the ground up. It seems that the detective is key to the success in Tarrant County. I was sucked in to this podcast from the beginning; I been around pathological liars and I can see the similarities. Just chilling to think how much this goes on.
